Terminology miniview hides tab switcher
Open, NormalPublic

Description

When the option to enable the miniview in terminology is selected the miniview overlays the tab switcher gadget. the only way to switch tabs is in this case is to turn off the miniview and then turning it back on later.

the miniview should be shrunk vertically so that it does not overlay the tab switcher.

Also. I have DELIBERATELY disabled the features that reset the termainl view on output AND on input and scrolling back to the bottom using the miniview does not lock me back at the bottom, IN fact there is no way for me to lock there.

When i drag the miniview to the bottom of the output it should stay there.

With "tab switcher gadget" you mean the blue rectangle on the right side of the terminal, right?

I tried to disable "Scroll to bottom on new content" and "Scroll to bottom when a key is pressed" and actually when I scroll to bottom with miniview it stays at the bottom. I don't know why it doesn't work for you... Please define your issue there.

You can see it here:

Imo, the miniview widget should be better "included" in the term widget, so that it doesn't overlay anything (be it the textgrid of the tabcount).

I also would like that the mini view does not overlap with any textgrid.
Most of the time, the content of one line in my terminal session do not fit on one line of the terminal, so when enabling mini view, a lot of content is hidden.
So a separate widget for the miniview would be nice.

Hi guys,

I just started to use miniview today and it is awesome. I just have this same bug described here, not with tabs, but with my vi editor. It hides the information at the bottom right corner.

Is there any progress with that?

Thank you
