Terminal created by splitting does not respond to keystrokes
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Using v1.4.0
Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open terminal
  2. Split either vertically or horizontally
  3. Click on the newly created terminal
  4. Type something - nothing happens (sometimes one or two characters appear then nothing)

It looks as if both terminals are active ( the cursor is highlighted in both sides of the split)

Workaround:
Click on the old terminal and then back on the new one
The cursor highlighting is then correct
Typing in the new terminal works

How do you split? with the key bindings or through the UI?

and which version of EFL are you using?

Last questions. Do you have Focus split under the mouse?
In that case, is the mouse cursor over the new split or not?

I'm using EFL 1.21.1, I split using the UI, and "Focus split under the mouse" is set. In this case the mouse is over the split when I try to type

With "Focus split..." not set, I have to click twice on the new split in order for it to get focus, but then it works
