alt+backspace does not work in terminology
Closed, ResolvedPublic

I've never used this issue tracker software before so pardon any mistakes

alt+backspace isn't being passed properly by terminology.

In many console applications, alt+backspace deletes the word immediately preceding the cursor, (like ctrl+left, but deleting instead of moving the cursor). This works fine in most terminal emulators I've tested, but terminology just passes a regular backspace.

Are you using a debian-based distribution?
If you are, could try changing the state of the checkbox called BackArrow sends Del (instead of BackSpace) in the Settings menu.
You need to start a new term to have that change taken into account.

That did it! Thanks!
