As an update, after 5 days of use, the situation seems improved with the above patch, but I still encountered the bug 2 times, over the course of probably 20-30 suspend/resume cycles.

Thanks! Just installed, will report back soon - thanks a lot for the patch.

@devilhorns , actually, this is an old bug that wasn't closed when the features were implemented (2019). So I think your comments don't make sense :-) I'll close this for now.

This was added by raster to git, and should be apart of the next E release :-)

Just a user, but this seems to fix my experiences with ecrire (and, works in elm_test). Thanks for the patch!

I tried downgrading to 1.24.3, and it seemed to have the same issues. So, maybe not a showstopper for 1.25.x? But, it still seems to break text editors built off of EFL.

Embarrassingly, I've updated EFL + E, and no longer see this either :( It presents an empty /run/media/$USER dir, but in the same EFM window that I'm using to unmount. I'll close for now, sorry for the noise!
Hm, strange, it's pretty repeatable here. I have the "automatically mount" and "open EFM upon insertion" options enabled, if that makes a difference. I'll check when I get home, but I wonder if it's actually the "eject" option that is doing it...

Apologies for the delay, but I'm away from my E laptop for a few days! I'll give a fresh master checkout a shot, and report back if it DOESN'T work! Thanks for the update.

That's correct - my preferred setup is a full length bar, with menu, pager, launcher on the left, clock centered, and some system gadgets (battery, wireless, mixer) all the way on the right

Ok, thanks for the explanation. Feel free to close if too complex, I guess bryces just don't work for my setup.

Sorry, it seems to work after a reboot - I think something was wrong with one of my dbus services!
