bu5hm4n added a comment to T5467: disable "Extract here" in menu, if file isn't supported.

Problem is, that is not really easy… I am using libarchiv to extract archives etc. but i cannot check which support is compiled into libarchive, so right now there is now real way to check if a given file is supported or not... Maybe libarchive exposes a api for that one day...

worst side: it doesn't scroll when you move the mouse to the lower side so you cant access the options. Also if the menu is open the keyboard (arrows or keys) cant be used to move through the options.

Thats sadly the way efl deals with the menu. they are rendered in the same menu,
good side: they are also working on a system without window managing,
bad side: they are bound to the window.

Ok. BTW why the menu only renders in the Venre window. If the window is small it cuts a bit at the bottom. ie > https://www.enlightenment.org/ss/display.php?image=e-590ee3a93db990.29578118.png

Well we can talk again about that when more stuff is needed, but right now I will stick to the menu :)

Because the menu is already quite long and its better to be used for stuff you use most frequently. Also at some point you might need to add more stuff.

Noep they can be managed via the menu and I like to keep it like that ... Why should someone search for a additional panel somewhere if there are just the in the menu ? :)

Go to a folder ie /etc >rclick >rename > type something > hit ender > no message. Or to begin with the option to rename or edit it in any way shouldn't be there.

Well not really remembering, the Delete button should do the same as the menu, if thats move to trash then thats fine. Shift + Delete should really delete if normal delete is move to trash
